Budget Smartphone maker Lava has launched a new
Smartphone in India with high-end specifications on a pocket friendly price
point, the Lava Iris X10 the latest from Lava has been surfaced on homeshop18
website few days ago, but today is the official release date.
The Lava Iris X10 packs a 5-inch HD (720x1280p)
display with 293 ppi density and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3,
the Smartphone is powered by quad core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz.
The Lava Iris X10 comes with 3 GB of RAM along with
16 GB of internal memory which is further expandable via microSD card, the Smartphone
runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, but good news is that you'll soon be able to
upgrade the version to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
In the camera department it comes equipped with 13
MP AF camera with f/2.0 aperture with dual LED flash, the camera is capable of
shooting 1080p videos while there is a 5 MP front camera unit with 84-degree
wide angle lens for video calls and shelfies.
Connectivity aside, the Lava Iris X10 supports dual
SIM with 4G LTE connectivity, it has support for the FDD-LTE 1800 MHz (band 3)
and TDD-LTE 2300 MHz (band 40) for India, also it has 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11
b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS, 3.5 mm Audio Jack and FM
Radio.
The Smartphone packs a 2900 mAh Li-ion battery which
according to Lava should provide 849 hours of stand-by time and 15.3 hours of
talk time. The Lava Iris X10 is available in White colour options and it is
officially priced at Rs. 11,500. The Smartphone would be available on retail
stores and various online shopping sites from today onwards.
