Gionee M5 Plus with 6-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Fingerprint sensor and 5020 mAh battery officially announced

Chinese Smartphone maker Gionee has officially announced the Gionee M5 Plus yesterday at an event held in China. The Gionee M5 Plus packs a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 2.5D arc Glass resulting in 368 ppi pixels density.

It is powered by MediaTek MT6753 64-bit chipset, featuring 1.7 GHz octa core Cortex-A53 processor with Mali T720 GPU, it comes with 3 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal memory expandable up to 128 GB with microSD card.

The M5 Plus sports a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) that allows focus within just 0.1 seconds it is accompanied by a 5 MP front facing camera that allows 720p video recording.

The latest Gionee Smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI on top, the Smartphone is also installed with a fingerprint sensor into the home button that offers 0.1 seconds response time and recognition time of 0.38 seconds.

 The Gionee M5 Plus supports dual GSM SIM connectivity along with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS, USB OTG, FM Radio, USB Type-C, 3.5 mm Audio Jack.

The Best feature of Gionee M5 Plus is its battery, which is a Li-Po 5020 mAh unit which features  dual Charging chips that enables up to 1 day usage with just 1 hour of charging. The Gionee M5 Plus is available in Gold and Silver colour options and it is priced at 2499 Yuan in China (~ Rs. 25,595 in India Currency) and it is currently available for order from official Gionee Shop and it goes on sale from December 25th in China.
