Asus ZenPad C 7.0 with 3G dual SIM, quad core processor and DTS HD Sound goes on sale in India starting from Rs. 7,999

Asus has launched a brand new budget Android Tablet in India the Asus ZenPad C 7.0. The tablet comes in two variant one comes with MediaTek processor (Asus ZenPad C Z170MG) while other variant is powered by a Intel processor (ZenPad C Z170CG).

The latest Asus ZenPad tab sports a 7-inch IPS display with 1024x600 p resolution resulting in 170 ppi pixel density, the screen is protected by AGC Glass Protection with 20 nm Anti-Finger Coating and the screen offers 170 degree viewing angle.

The Asus ZenPad C 7.0 Z170MG is powered by quad core MediaTek MT 8382 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz with Mali 400-MP2 GPU while the Z170CG variant is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core Intel Atom x3-C3230 64 bit processor with Mali-450 MP4 GPU.

Both the ZenPad C 7.0 variant comes with 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 8 GB internal memory which is expandable via microSD card. The Tab runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI on top, The tab packs a 3450 mAh Li-Po battery. The Budget Asus tab comes with a 5 MP rear camera and a VGA 0.3 MP front camera for video calls or low res shelfies.

The ZenPad C 7.0 supports dual SIM with 3G HSPA+ connectivity while other connectivity options includes Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS with A-GPS, 3.5 mm Audio jack and Asus has packed a Front speaker with DTS HD Sound.

The Asus ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170MG) variant with MediaTek SoC comes in Obsidian Black and Pearl White colours and is priced at Rs. 7,999 while the ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170CG )with Intel SoC is available in Obsidian Black, Glamour Red and Aurora Metallic colours with a price tag of Rs. 8,999.
